As part of their seasonal series of food events, we were thrilled to dine at Breac House recently to sample a Donegal inspired tasting menu by Carrigart native, chef Ciaran Sweeney. Ciaran Sweeney is a renowned Donegal chef who has worked in some of Ireland's best restaurants including The Greenhouse and Forest & Marcy in Dublin.
Set in Hornhead, Breac House is a stunning, contemporary retreat by Niall and Cathrine Campbell. The property was designed by award-winning local architects and built by traditional craftsmen. The retreat sits among Donegal's breathtaking mountains and inside you will find an array of touches that celebrates local trade such as handwoven Donegal Tweed. On selected dates throughout the year Breac House partner with Ciaran Sweeney offering a seasonal tasting menu showcasing Donegal produce. We were lucky to snag a spot at their September event and it was an evening of stunning cooking, world class hospitality and breathtaking scenery. This becomes all the more hectic if you are running a business. If you don’t have enough resources or a dedicated team of developers to manage the website, then it will be better to go for a maintenance and support service provider.
